Riveted on the VS front spar attach plate.

Took me a while to figure out that installing the VS is a lot easier without the HS installed. You can also shift it way back on the deck to make room.

I used the tie-down block, which I had match-drilled to the bulkhead a long time ago, as a pattern to drill the VS to #30. This seems like a hack, but I couldn't see any other way to do it.
